The native San Franciscan has been involved in the sport of bodybuilding from an early age and has won numerous other competitions, including first place in the Super Heavyweight class at the 1999 Contra Costa County Bodybuilding Championships and second place in the Super Heavyweight class at the 1999 California State Bodybuilding Championships, both in the Open Division.

Malliarodakis portrayed a submarine officer in the Emmy-award winning Paramount Television mini-series "War and Remembrance" which starred Robert Mitchum, Jane Seymour, Michael Madsen, and Sharon Stone. He has also appeared in numerous television commercials, music videos, and print advertisements and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. In addition to Muscle & Fitness, Malliarodakis has also graced the cover of Ironman magazine and is regularly featured in many other bodybuilding magazines.
